About Meeting Games

Meeting Games is a free website for running short multiplayer games during work meetings, onboarding sessions, all-hands calls, offsites, and classrooms. A host creates a room, shares one link or a five-character code, and everyone joins from a phone or laptop with just a nickname. The game runs in the browser beside whatever video tool the team already uses.

Why it exists

Most multiplayer games online are either too complex for a five-minute meeting opener, require accounts and downloads, or have a look that does not fit a professional Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet call. Meeting Games is built around the opposite constraints: lightweight, host-controlled, and instantly accessible.

The games

How a session works

The host creates a room and picks a game. Players join using the link or the room code, and the host can start once at least two players are in. Everyone answers on their own device at the same time. The host controls the pace: they can reveal results early, move to the next question, or end the game at any point. If the host leaves, another active player is promoted so the room is not left stuck.

Where the content comes from

  • Trivia questions are a mix of questions curated from Open Trivia DB (licensed CC BY-SA 4.0) and questions prepared for this site. Imported questions are reviewed for fit with work settings before use, and their source is kept with the question. Attribution is also listed on the privacy page.
  • Would You Rather, This or That, Emoji Pictionary, Emoji Master, Rapid Fire, and Two Truths & a Lie prompts are prepared for Meeting Games and aimed at work-safe topics.
  • Guides on the blog explain how to use these games in real meetings. They are practical facilitation advice. Where a guide describes a game's screens, the screenshots come from the product itself, and we try to avoid statistics we cannot source.

Our Core Philosophy

  • Zero Friction: Players should not need a password to answer a quick icebreaker.
  • Host in Control: The person running the meeting decides when to start, pace, and end the room.
  • Work-Safe & Friendly: Clean interfaces, readable typography, and safe-for-work content.
  • Mobile-First Joining: Everyone has their phone. Joining on mobile while watching the host's shared screen is the ideal flow.

Privacy, analytics, and advertising

There are no accounts: players pick a nickname per room. The site uses Google Analytics for aggregate traffic reporting and may use Google advertising cookies. The Privacy Policy explains what is collected and how to opt out, and the Terms cover use of the service.
